I am not a doctor, and so you might think that I am not qualified to say this, but hear me out.
I am in the health profession, and I have worked in the medical industry. I am also an entrepreneur and I understand business.
The medical industry is a business first, then healing is second. There are some amazing doctors out there, and some that I wouldn't trust my goldfish with.
And it all comes to this: Don't outsource your health to someone else.
Your health is your responsibility, no one else's. You know yourself best. You know your history, your circumstances, what triggers you, what you want from life. I hear so many people say "Doctor knows best". That may have been true in the old days, but not when your doctor is trying to sell you medication so he can go on an expensive holiday.
In this video I explain a couple of experiences I have had with two doctors:
One who genuinely cared, the other who was in it for the money.
At the end of the day, you decide in who's hands you are going to put your well-being, and I hope that the decision you make is YOURS.
