Anger is a powerful emotion. It gets you motivated to take action, but it can also be very destructive. When you are in the throes of anger, you can say or do things that you later regret.
Anger can literally kill you, because it affects your heart rhythm and elevates your stress through the roof. It does not serve you, nor anyone else when you act on it.
The actual job of anger is to let you know that something is wrong. Rather than acting out on the emotion, which can consume you, allow yourself to realise that it is just a feeling and it will run its course.
When you are able to think rationally, you will then be able to look at the situation and see what it is inside you that triggered it.
In this video I explain how anger works, and what it is telling you about yourself. If you listen to the message, rather than react to it, you will be happier and live longer.
